Miguel is a first-generation migrant from Mexico. He has worked with the Latin community in the Ellensburg area for the past 25 years.

He has a B.A. from Central Washington University in Film and Video Studies with a Minor in administrative management and Spanish.

Miguel has worked as an interpreter since 2007 in both judicial and medical settings. Currently, he works with patients assisting them with enrollment into insurance programs via the navigator program.

This has allowed Miguel the opportunity to help the community by helping patients understand the need for healthcare maintenance and prevention.
