Philosophy of Care:
Patient care is more than just physicians providing necessary medical care for patients. As a healthcare provider, I constantly remind myself that it is my privilege and honor to get to know each one of my patients and their life stories. Because every aspect of the patient’s life could potentially play a role in their current and future health conditions; therefore, when it comes to caring for them, I always take the biological, psychological, and spiritual of the patient into consideration. Also, I truly believe providing the necessary knowledge on disease prevention to my patients is a crucial component of their overall wellbeing. The relationships based on mutual respect and trust I build with my patients will positively impact not only their health but at the same time would greatly enhance my personal growth.
Medical Interests:
Chronic diseases management and early prevention, life-style medicine, healthcare policy and education.
Cooking, Singing, traveling and different outdoor activities.
What drew you to CWFMR and/or Yakima:
As a first-generation immigrant, I have lived in few different states. I fell in love with the Pacific Northwest for its distinct seasons and gentle people. As a future physician, I believe that CWFM will provide me with once in a lifetime opportunity to receive robust training which will fulfill my goal of practicing full-spectrum family medicine.
