Meet Haneef Mohamed, MD

I am a 2nd year resident and have had the opportunity to work with the Latino Community in NY, TX, and now WA. As an immigrant, I know how difficult it is to adjust to living in a different country. Ever since I arrived in Yakima, I have been educating myself on the various challenges Latinos face here. Being chosen to be a part of LIDERES is truly an honor and my goals are to attain fluency in Spanish, immerse myself in the community and learn from LIDERES faculty, foster hope, and goodwill, and offer my help and guidance in navigating the system and positively impact healthcare outcomes.
