National Health Center Week 2021
National Health Center Week (August 8 – 14) is an annual celebration with the goal of raising awareness about the mission and accomplishments of America’s health centers over the past five decades. Community Health Centers serve as the beacon of strength, service, and care in their communities. In moments of pain and loss, they offer support and love. In moments of triumph, they offer hope and a vision for the future. Let’s come together this week to celebrate the roles Community Health Centers have played in both our recent moments of loss and triumph.
It is also a great opportunity to celebrate our patients and all the work performed by CHCW staff. Through service and education we are building healthier communities.
As part of National Health Center Week we will conduct a bike raffle. For all those patients that have been on top of their healthcare this last year, we will reward them by entering them in a raffle to win a new bicycle! In order to qualify the patient needs to be between age 3 and age 18. They must have also completed a well child check, annual exam, routine dental exam or a sports physical between January 1, 2021 and October 31st, 2021. If the patient is of age and gets the Covid-19 vaccine they will also receive a second opportunity to win. We will conduct the raffle on August 16th. In total we will try to raffle 10 bicycles.
