A transition in leadership has occurred in our Central Washington Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Isaacs is no longer our Program Director. Dr. Caitlin Hill was asked by the organization to step into  the role of Interim Program Director.  Dr. Ragina Lancaster will remain the Associate Program Director and Dr. Robert Wageneck will remain as our Rural Site Director in Ellensburg.

As a leadership team and faculty, we are wholeheartedly committed to the continued success of our residency, and in growing, broadening, and strengthening our resident learning experiences. We will begin our Program Director search immediately, focusing on excellent candidates whose vision includes our commitment to global medicine, diversity and inclusion, behavioral health collaboration, rural medicine programming, OB and inpatient training and, new Sim Man internal medicine and emergency medicine curricula.

The strengths of our program remain the same: our amazing faculty, our continued strong community involvement and support, our connection with the WWAMI network, and the diverse opportunities that our residents get training in, including rural and underserved communities. Our program is healthy and secure, and we have the full support of our sponsoring institution.
