Class of 2024

Aaron’s History

Kristina Bowen Updated

Medical School:
Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences

Philosophy of Care:
The ability to deliver family medicine facilitates the ability to provide lifelong care, from birth to death. Specifically, the continuity of care with patients promotes a sense of genuineness within the patient-doctor relationship. I value developing a friendship with my patients during visits to ultimately lend a hand in guiding my patients to the quality medical care they wish to receive.

Medical Interests:
Sports medicine, General Adult Health, Preventative Medicine, Rural Health, Wilderness Medicine.

Personal Interests/Hobbies:
I enjoy motorsports of all sorts. I am actively involved in the local and national motocross scene. I enjoy spending time in the mountains on my UTV and camping with my friends and family. Most importantly, I am a foodie at heart. I love eating, especially at BBQ joints and local “hole-in-the-wall” eateries.

What drew you to CWFMR and/or Yakima:
Growing up in the Yakima Valley, intending to practice here for life, it was imperative that I trained at a program that offered the continual learning of medicine from the unique populations of home. In this sense, staying in Yakima and finishing my training at CWFM offers the opportunity to receive thorough training within the very community I was raised in.
