Philosophy of Care:  I wish to practice medicine as a true family doctor.  To be able to address each individual as the unique human that they are in the world, culture, and family that they live in.  I believe that to best treat a person is to address their health care needs as a whole person—mind, body, and spirit, in the world that they live in.

Medical Interests:  To be a well rounded family medicine doctor, emphasizing community health, preventative medicine, and addressing each patient’s psychosocial needs as well as their physical needs.

What drew you to CWFMR and/or Yakima:  CWFMR is amazing at addressing family medicine and primary care at the level of how I would like to practice.  They truly have dedicated the program to making the “pluripotent stem cell doctor”, which is right in line with my own philosophy of care.

Personal Interest / Hobbies:  I love to spend time with my husband and family outdoors in my free time.  Whether it is gardening, hiking, fishing, or spending some time at the beach, the Northwest caters to all of it.
