Philosophy of Care:
I believe access to medical care is a basic right that should be afforded to all people. I strive to provide outstanding, comprehensive, compassionate, and patient centered medical care to patients regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status.

Professional organizations / affiliations:
AMA, AAFP, STFM, ACOG and other acronyms.

Special professional interests:
I am very interested in how individuals learn and few things give me more joy than seeing a student progress to mastery of a subject area. Practicing and teaching medicine is certainly a profession, but also my most favorite hobby. I love most all fields within medicine, which is what led me to being a family physician. At the moment, a lot of my extracurricular energy is being devoted to resident teaching, women’s health, and use of EMRs.

Personal Interests/Hobbies:
Hobbies include reading fiction, studying physics, playing/watching basketball, traveling to exotic locales, playing retro video games, teaching and practicing medicine, and spending time with family/friends.
